John Heltzer
President, Protocol Call Center Services
Considered an innovator in the call center industry, John has led the continued
growth of this fast-paced facet of Protocol Integrated Direct Marketing. Today,
he is responsible for North American Operations, including all eight call centers
located in the United States and Canada, as well as a vast system of off-shore global
operations.
Prior to joining Protocol in early 2001, John served as Vice President of Operations
for ShopTalk Networks, where he helped build the organization into one of the leaders
in the design and deployment of front-end, speech-enabled technology applications.
This included creating one of the largest consumer-based, mobile-commerce voice
platforms in the industry…with over 500,000 users. He also spent three years at
APAC Teleservices as Director of Operations, where he was personally responsible
for 29 call centers across America, totaling over $70 million in annual revenues.
In addition, John spent five years at Servco, Inc., where he was Director, National
Operations. There, he helped develop this start-up company into one of the premier
outsourced retail merchandising companies in the business—growing it from 14 local
employees to over 600 national field merchandising positions. He later assisted
in the successful merger of Servco, Inc. with Spar Marketing Services, one of the
largest providers of integrated marketing and specialized retail services in the
country.
John is a graduate of University of Colorado.
